For Kazantzis Real Estate Agent Tina Luft, being a Realtor is not just business, it's personal.  

Born in Scotland, Luft moved around a lot, until her family settled down in Griswold, Connecticut in 1986. It was here she was finally home.

While helping run her family's net-zero home building and design company, the real estate business always piqued Jennifer Lehto's interest. So, two years ago, she decided to take the plunge, becoming a member of the Kazantzis Real Estate team.  It was immediately obvious real estate was her calling. In her first year as a Realtor, Lehto sold 23 properties and had five more under contract to start 2021.

Connecticut is at the center of a heated national debate - and, it's all concerning pizza.

Two New Haven lawmakers have proposed designating pizza as the official state food. Proposed House Bill 5656 would amend an existing state statute to "recognize the contribution of pizza to the state's cuisine and economy." 

Some may say it's a bold move for a state that borders New York. In fact, it's been the topic of conversation of some national morning shows. However, while Connecticut may not be the first place you think of when it comes to pizza, if you really think about it the proposal just may not seem that far-fetched. After all, it is home to two of the most famous pizzerias in the country.
